Raj has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the mining and metals industry. He has an extensive advisory and capital markets track record with a deal value in excess of USD 150bn.

Prior to co-founding Oval Advisory, that connects miners with strategic capital (debt, equity, offtake), Raj was:

• Global Head of Mining & Metals at Standard Bank

• Head of M&A at ArcelorMittal

• Managing Director at HSBC

He has transaction experience in all mining jurisdictions and across the entire commodity chain.

Raj is also director of various private and listed companies, including Invinity Energy Systems and Minas de Revuboe.
