Sam Houston is the founder of Strategist Solutions, an advisory practice helping senior global leaders convert strategies into concrete plans to drive measurable growth and profits. With nearly 30 years of international experience, Sam has held executive roles at Rio Tinto and Eldorado Gold and led major programmes across mining and metals, energy, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing, including giga-factory delivery in the EV value chain. Passionate about furthering the critical minerals industry and unlocking the potential of European supply chains, Sam now works with boards, executives, and leadership teams to build capability, systemic readiness, and cross-functional alignment; turning complexity into capability and ensuring a resilient impact that is sustained long after projects end.
