Jason Holden is a Senior Mining Analyst with S&P Global's Metals and Mining team, based in London. His expertise lies in cost and emission analysis of mining assets, alongside a keen focus on mineral economics and mine supply dynamics. He also tasked with covers supply estimates for platinum group elements. Before joining S&P Global, Jason amassed significant experience in the mining industry, specializing in exploration geology and resource development. He played a pivotal role in the discovery of the Wodgina iron ore deposit in Australia and contributed to the Lumwana copper project in Zambia. Additionally, he gained valuable insights during his tenure in China, where he focused on investment strategies within the mining sector.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from Camborne School of Mines and a Master of Science in Metals and Energy Finance from Imperial College London.
