19 initiatives for implement the CRMA in Portugal

The CRMA is the European regulation on Critical Raw Materials. Portugal has prepared a National Action Plan with 19 measures to translate this European vision into practice. Portugal has significant geological resources, including critical raw materials essential for the digital transition. But to make the most of this potential, we need a careful balance: economic opportunity, environmental protection, and social acceptance. This balance is only possible with planning and dialogue. Out of the 19 measures, I will highlight three: The Sectoral Program for Geological Resources; The Integration into Land Use Planning instruments and the Communication Plan for Mineral Resources.
