The International Copper Study Group (ICSG) is an intergovernmental organisation established in 1992. The Group’s main functions are:
To promote market transparency in the global copper market via the publication of detailed information on production, usage, trade, stocks and prices of copper.
Facilitate international co-operation on copper related issues such as health and the environment, technology transfer, regulations and related economic trends.
Provide a forum where industry and government representatives can meet and discuss common problems/objectives.
